Lemon Herb Pork Steak

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Rub the pork steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet to medium heat and add butter.
  4. Once butter is melted, add the pork steak to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, basil, garlic, and oregano.
  6. Once the pork steak has finished cooking, brush the lemon herb mixture on both sides of the steak.
  7. Transfer the steak to a baking sheet and pour any excess liquid from the skillet into the pan.
  8. Bake the steak in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until it is cooked through.
