1. In a dry pan, lightly roast the makhana on medium heat until they are crispy. Allow them to cool. 2. Once cooled, crush the makhana into coarse pieces using a rolling pin or food processor. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed makhana, groundnut powder, jaggery powder, honey, cardamom powder, and salt. 4. Mix everything well until it forms a sticky mixture. If using, add desiccated coconut at this stage. 5. With your hands, form small balls from the mixture, ensuring they hold together. 6. Place the energy balls on a plate and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set. 7. Enjoy your nutritious energy balls as a snack or a quick bite!
