Steps
1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice, turmeric powder, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked and fluffy.
3. While the rice is cooking, prepare your protein by frying tempeh cubes until golden brown.
4. Once the rice is done, let it cool slightly, then shape it into a cone on a banana leaf or a plate.
5. Arrange the boiled edamame, shredded carrots, cucumber slices, and fried tempeh around the base of the rice cone.
6. Drizzle sambal oelek over the vegetables for a spicy kick.
7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve with a smile!
