Steps

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 3. Add the sliced leeks and sauté gently for about 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized. 4. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. 5. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. 6. Season the leek cream sauce with salt and black pepper. 7. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet to coat it evenly with the sauce. 8. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
