Steps
1. In a medium pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium high heat until browned. Break into small pieces with a wooden spoon.
2. Lower the heat to medium. Add the olive oil, garlic, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Stir and sauté until the mushrooms have softened slightly.
3. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
4. Increase heat to medium-high. Simmer until cream is thickened and cheese has melted, about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the cooked pasta and season with salt to taste. Serve immediately.
