
Steps
- In a medium pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium high heat until browned. Break into small pieces with a wooden spoon.
- Lower the heat to medium. Add the olive oil, garlic, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Stir and sauté until the mushrooms have softened slightly.
- Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
- Increase heat to medium-high. Simmer until cream is thickened and cheese has melted, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and season with salt to taste. Serve immediately.
