Persian Saffron Chicken with Broccoli and Onions

Steps

1. Soak saffron threads in warm water for 10 minutes. 2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until translucent. 3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. 4. Stir in turmeric, cinnamon, and dried lime powder; cook for 30 seconds. 5. Add chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until lightly browned. 6. Pour saffron water over the chicken, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes. 7. Add broccoli florets, cover again, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender and chicken is cooked through. 8. Adjust seasoning if needed. 9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with rice or flatbread.
