Steps
In a small saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, water, and honey (or maple syrup) over low heat until warm.
Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the mixture and stir continuously until dissolved.
Add pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, mixing well.
If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to achieve a vibrant look.
Pour the mixture into gummy worm molds or a flat dish lined with parchment paper.
Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until set.
Once set, carefully remove the gummy worms from the molds or cut into strips if using a flat dish.
