Szechuan Spicy Beef Stir-Fry

Steps

1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, Szechuan peppercorns, and red pepper flakes. Set aside. 2. Heat some oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from the pan. 3. In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Add garlic, ginger, and onions. Stir-fry until fragrant. 4. Add bell peppers and continue to stir-fry for a few minutes until slightly softened. 5. Return the beef to the pan. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 7. Serve the Szechuan spicy beef stir-fry over cooked rice.
