Tomato Basil Chicken Skillet

Steps

1. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and dried oregano. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 3. Add the chicken breast and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked. 4. Remove the chicken and set aside. 5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. 6. Add the diced tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. 7. Stir in chopped basil and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. 8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the tomato mixture over it. 9. Cook together for another 2 minutes to meld flavors. 10. Serve hot, optionally topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
