Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
3. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they soften.
4. Push the tomatoes to the side and crack the eggs into the skillet, stirring gently to scramble them with the tomatoes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix everything together, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
