Steps

1. Form the ground beef into a patty, season with salt and pepper, and grill on medium-high heat until cooked through (about 4-5 minutes per side). 2. In the last minute of cooking, place the fresh American cheese on top of the patty to melt. 3. Remove the patty from the skillet and set aside. 4. In the same skillet, add the small strips of onions and cook in the remaining burger grease until caramelized (about 3-4 minutes). Remove and set aside. 5. Toast the potato bun in the same skillet until golden brown and crispy, absorbing the flavors (about 1-2 minutes). 6. Begin assembling the burger: Start with the bottom bun, add the slice of tomato, followed by the cheese-topped beef patty, and then add the caramelized onions. 7. Place a slice of lettuce on top, spread the bacon jam, and add the second slice of lettuce. 8. Top with sliced dill pickle, drizzle with Caden’s Burger Sauce, and Dijon mustard. 9. Finish with the top toasted bun and serve immediately.
