Steps
1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Add capers and sauté for 1 minute.
4. Pour in the white wine, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
5. Add lemon juice and zest to the sauce, stirring to combine.
6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Cook for another minute to heat through.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
