
Steps
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground chicken, breaking it up with a spatula and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced water chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Spoon the chicken mixture into lettuce leaves, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve and enjoy!

- 4-5 large lettuce leaves
- 100g ground chicken
- 1/4 cup diced water chestnuts
- 1/4 cup diced shiitake mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
