Steps
1. Heat butter in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add the beef and onions and cook until the beef starts to brown.
3. Add the potatoes, tomatoes, and 1 cup of water.
4. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft.
5. Serve with freshly cooked Basmati rice.
