
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the dark chocolate, basil, and cream cheese until well mixed.
- Carefully slice a pocket into the side of the chicken breast.
- Fill the pocket with the chocolate mixture and secure it with toothpicks if necessary.
- Season the outside of the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
