Classic Lasagna for One

Steps

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add ground meat. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned. 3. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, and let simmer for 5 minutes. 4. In a small baking dish, layer one lasagna noodle, half of the meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella. 5. Place the second noodle on top, then add the remaining meat sauce and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. 6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. 7. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.
