Steps
Steps of Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a bowl, combine cubed butternut squash, oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix until butternut squash is evenly coated.
3. Spread the butternut squash onto a baking sheet.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
5. Put the baked butternut squash into a blender.
6. Add vegetable broth, cream cheese, and half-and-half cream.
7. Blend until smooth.
8. Heat soup in a pot and serve warm.
