Steps

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. 3. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. 4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until they release their moisture and begin to brown. 5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, letting it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. 6. Season with salt and pepper. 7. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. 8. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese. 9. Serve garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
