
Steps
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy mushroom sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
