Steps

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. 4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly. 5. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. 6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well to coat. 7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
