Steps
1. Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
2. Slice the hoagie roll lengthwise but not all the way through, creating a pocket.
3. Spread mayonnaise inside the roll, then layer with sliced turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
4. In a bowl, beat the egg and season it with salt and pepper.
5. Dip the stuffed hoagie roll into the egg mixture, ensuring it's well coated.
6. Roll the sandwich in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
7. Carefully place the sandwich in the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
8. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
