Steps
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Spread tater tots evenly on a baking sheet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
4. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheddar cheese and bacon bits evenly over the tots.
5. Return to oven for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
6. Transfer to a plate, add a dollop of sour cream, and garnish with chopped green onions.
