Steps

1. Scrub the clams under cold water to remove any dirt or sand. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. 3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for a minute until fragrant. 4. Increase the heat to high and add the clams to the skillet. Stir well to coat them in the garlic butter. 5. Pour in the white wine and cover the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the clams have opened. 6. Remove any unopened clams and discard. 7. Season the clams with salt and black pepper to taste. 8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. 9. Serve hot with crusty bread or pasta.
