Garlic Mushroom Fried Rice with Egg

Steps

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. 2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. 3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. 4. Push the mushrooms to one side of the pan and crack the egg into the other side. Scramble the egg until fully cooked. 5. Add the cooked rice to the pan, mixing everything together. 6. Pour in the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine. 7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. 8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
