German Potato Skins

A simple, yet delicious appetizer made with potatoes, bacon, and cheese

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease with oil. 3. Slice potatoes into half-inch thick slices and arrange on the baking sheet. 4. Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. 5. Remove potatoes from the oven and add butter, bacon bits, and cheese on top. 6. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 7. Remove from oven and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve warm.

- 4 ounces potatoes - 1 tablespoon butter - 1 tablespoon bacon bits - 1 tablespoon Cheddar cheese - Salt and pepper, to taste
