Steps
1. Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
3. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
5. In the last 2 minutes, add butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the pan.
6. Spoon the melted lemon garlic butter over the salmon continuously.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
8. Serve immediately with your favorite side.
