Steps for Preparation:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the lentils, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and ginger.
2. Add the broth and tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until lentils are tender.
3. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, celery, and salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes more.
4. Serve warm.
