Mussels in Garlic and Parsley Sauce

This simple yet delicious dish made with mussels in garlic and white wine parsley sauce is sure to be a hit!

Steps

1. Rinse the mussels in cold water and remove any beards. 2. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant. 3. Add the mussels and stir to combine. 4. Pour in the white wine and stir to combine. 5. Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. 6. Cover the saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes until the mussels have opened. 7. Remove the mussels from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside. 8. Turn the heat up to high and reduce the sauce by half. 9. Add the parsley and stir to combine. 10. Return the mussels to the pan and stir to coat with the sauce. 11. Serve the mussels in the sauce and enjoy.
