
Steps
- Rinse the mussels in cold water and remove any beards.
- Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the mussels and stir to combine.
- Pour in the white wine and stir to combine.
- Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
- Cover the saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes until the mussels have opened.
- Remove the mussels from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Turn the heat up to high and reduce the sauce by half.
- Add the parsley and stir to combine.
- Return the mussels to the pan and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Serve the mussels in the sauce and enjoy.

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
