Pan-Seared Cod with Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

Steps

1. Pat the cod fillet dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. 3. Place the cod in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden and crispy. 4. Carefully flip the cod and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through and opaque. 5. Remove cod from the skillet and set aside on a plate. 6. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. 7. Once butter melts, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. 8. Stir in lemon juice and zest, then remove from heat. 9. Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over the cod. 10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
