Steps

1. Score the skin of the duck breast in a criss-cross pattern and season with salt and pepper. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. 3. Flip the duck breast and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness, or adjust cooking time according to your preference. 5.
