Steps
1. In a small pan, heat up 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
2. Once butter has melted, add ¼ cup of cornmeal and stir until it is toasted and fragrant (around 4 minutes).
3. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir for around 1 minute.
4. Lower heat to low-medium, and gradually add the milk while stirring.
5. Add a few drops of vanilla extract and keep stirring until it thickens (around 5 minutes).
6. Turn off the heat and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
7. Serve in a bowl or a cup and enjoy!
