Sautéed Shanghai Cabbage and Bacon

A flavorful and easy-to-make main dish with brightly colored veggies, bacon and soy sauce.

Steps

  1. Cut the cabbage into thin slices and place it into a bowl;
  2. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to the cabbage and mix;
  3. Cut bacon in thin strips;
  4. Heat up a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat;
  5. Add oil/butter to the skillet/wok and wait till it's warm;
  6. Put bacon strips in the skillet/wok and fry until crispy;
  7. Add cabbage to the skillet/wok and stir everything together;
  8. Fry for several minutes until cabbage is cooked;
  9. Add soy sauce, stir and combine everything well;
  10. Turn off the heat, serve and enjoy!

  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon;
  • Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon;
  • Vegetable oil/butter: 1 tablespoon;
  • Salt and pepper: to taste;
