Steps
1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and half of the cinnamon.
3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
4. While the chicken cooks, slice the apple into thin wedges.
5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside.
6. In the same skillet, add the apple wedges and the remaining cinnamon, cooking for about 2 minutes until they start to soften.
7. Pour in the chicken broth and honey, stirring to combine.
8. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to heat through and absorb some of the flavors, about 2 minutes.
9. Serve the chicken topped with the apple mixture and garnish with fresh thyme, if desired.
