Steps
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent.
4. Add the sliced apple to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
5. Return the chicken to the skillet, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh thyme if desired.
