Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cut the top off the bread roll and gently scoop out the inside to create a bowl, leaving enough bread on the sides for support.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
4. Heat the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and scramble until just set, about 2-3 minutes.
5. If using, stir in fresh herbs and grated cheese into the scrambled eggs.
6. Fill the hollowed-out bread roll with the scrambled egg mixture.
7. Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the bread is slightly crispy and the eggs are set.
8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy your egg-stuffed bread bowl!
