Steps
1. Let the beef steak sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
4. Place the steak in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a brown crust forms.
5. Flip the steak, add butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the skillet.
6. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, basting the steak with the melted butter.
7. Check the internal temperature; for medium-rare, aim for 130°F (54°C).
8. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
