Steps
1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water and drain.
2. In a small saucepan, combine quinoa and vegetable broth; bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until quinoa is fluffy and liquid is absorbed.
4. While the quinoa cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
5. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
6. Stir in salt, black pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and basil; cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Once the quinoa is ready, fluff it with a fork and mix it with the sautéed onions.
8. Drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
