Stir in garlic, ginger, and green chili (if using), cooking for another minute until fragrant. 4. Add diced beetroot and sauté for 5 minutes, mixing well with the spices. 5. Sprinkle coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt, and mix everything together. 6. Pour in the water and bring to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes until the beetroot is tender. 7. Once cooked, sprinkle garam masala and stir well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. 8.
