
Steps
- Marinate the beef cubes with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a pan, heat ghee or oil and sauté the sliced onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated beef cubes and cook until the meat is tender.
- In a separate pot, parboil the basmati rice.
- Layer the cooked beef and rice in a pot, sprinkling diced tomatoes and fresh coriander leaves between the layers.
- Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and the flavors have melded together.
- Serve hot with raita or salad.
