Spicy Chicken Masala Rice

A flavorful and spicy one-pot rice dish combining aromatic spices, tender chicken masala, and fresh vegetables. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal with a kick of heat.

Steps

1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear and soak for 10 minutes. 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent. 3. Add sliced green chillies and chopped tomatoes; cook until tomatoes soften. 4. Stir in chilli powder, coriander powder, chicken masala, and salt. Cook the spices for 1-2 minutes. 5. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Stir gently to coat the rice with the spices. 6. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. 7. Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 15-18 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed. 8. Turn off heat and let it rest covered for 5 minutes. 9. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
