Steps
1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt.
2. Gradually add the beer to the dry ingredients, stirring until you have a smooth batter.
3. Fold in the fresh crab meat and sliced onions until well coated.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or as a side dish.
