Spicy Indian Samosa

Delicious Indian snack made of yam potato and fresh herbs, served with spicy chutney.

Steps

1. Peel yam potato and grate it. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. 3. Once they splutter, add grated yam potato to the pan and fry. 4. Then add chopped onion, mint leaves and salt and mix well. 5. Cook until the potato turns soft and green. 6. Sprinkle garam masala powder and mix. 7. Take out in a bowl and shape into small balls.

1/2 yam potato, 2 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves, 2 tablespoon chopped onion, 2 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds, pinch of salt, 1/4th teaspoon garam masala powder
