
Steps
- Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, potato, and tomato.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the bell pepper and potato. Cook until they are slightly tender.
- Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix everything together.
- Cook for a couple of minutes until the flavors blend well.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
