Spicy Kimchi Rendang Rice Bowl

A bold fusion dish that melds the rich, aromatic slow-cooked beef rendang from Indonesia with the spicy, fermented tang of Korean kimchi, served over steamed rice for a harmonious blend of flavors.

Steps

1. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. 2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant. 3. Stir in rendang paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. 4. Add beef slices and cook until browned. 5. Pour in coconut milk and soy sauce, simmer for 10 minutes until beef is tender. 6. Gently fold in chopped kimchi and cook for another 2 minutes. 7. Place cooked jasmine rice in a bowl. 8. Spoon the spicy kimchi rendang beef over the rice. 9. Garnish with sliced green onion, chili flakes, and fresh cilantro. 10. Serve hot and enjoy the fusion flavors.
