
Steps
- Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine the diced Hokkaido pumpkin, grated carrot, grated potato, chopped spinach, and finely chopped onion.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well until combined.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it over, and pinch to seal tightly.
- Repeat the process until all the filling is used.
- Set up a bamboo steamer over a pot of simmering water.
- Arrange the dumplings in the steamer, making sure they are not touching.
- Steam the dumplings for about 15 minutes, or until the wrappers become translucent and the filling is cooked through.
- Serve hot with soy sauce or your choice of dipping sauce.
