Steps
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Slice the potatoes and tomatoes into thin rounds.
3. In a baking dish, arrange a layer of potato slices followed by a layer of tomato slices, then repeat until all the slices are used.
4. Drizzle the olive oil over the potato and tomato layers.
5. Sprinkle dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper evenly over the top.
6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
7. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden.
8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
