Tomato and Vegetable Pasta

Steps

1. Peel and slice the carrot into thin rounds. 2. Finely chop the onion. 3. Dice the tomatoes. 4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. 5. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. 6. Add the chopped onion and sliced carrots. Sauté until the vegetables are tender. 7. Add the diced tomatoes to the pan and cook until they soften. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 9. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the pan with the vegetables. 10. Toss everything together until well combined. 11. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
