Tomato Basil Chicken

A delicious main dish featuring juicy tomatoes and tender chicken cooked in a fragrant basil sauce.

Steps

1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. 2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides. 3. Add the chicken breast to the pan and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. 4. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. 5. In the same pan, add the onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes. 6. Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes. 7. Return the chicken to the pan and add the chopped basil. 8. Cover the pan and let the chicken cook in the tomato basil sauce for another 10 minutes, or until cooked through. 9. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
