Steps
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
3. Cook the chicken in the skillet for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
6. Add diced tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften.
7. Stir in chopped basil and season with salt and pepper.
8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the tomato mixture over it.
9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top if using, cover, and cook for another 2 minutes until cheese melts.
10. Serve hot.
