Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until they start to soften.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped basil leaves.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the tomato mixture.
6. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
